Summer is here, and Troop 22 has a busy few months ahead with plenty of time outdoors. Scouts will be heading to Sea Base, Cris Dobbins Camp, and for our advanced backpackers, a 20-mile, 2-night trek to Pecos Baldy to complete backpacking requirements. We’ll be building backpacking skills, participating in our 39th annual Merit Badge Pow-Wow, and preparing for our Spring Break trip. There will also be opportunities for rank advancement, patrol planning, and a weekend of camping at Bandelier with fishing at Fenton Lake.
