April is almost here! We had a great time camping and fishing last weekend—always good to get outside together. This month shifts into skill-building mode  with Backpacking 101/201 and preparation for our May Court of Honor. Scouts should come ready to learn, participate, and be prepared. We’ll be building backpacking skills, participating in our 39th annual Merit Badge Pow-Wow, and preparing for our Spring Break trip. There will also be opportunities for rank advancement, patrol planning, and a weekend of camping at Bandelier with fishing at Fenton Lake. As we head into 2026 , it’s a good moment to look back on 2025  and everything the troop worked through and accomplished along the way. It was a steady year of showing up, learning new skills, getting outdoors, and growing as scouts and leaders. Looking ahead, we’ll continue building on that foundation in 2026 with opportunities for advancement, hands-on experiences, and leadership growth across the troop. What a fantastic November! Our joint Turkey Roast campout and annual meal with Troop 2  was a success — great food, teamwork, and tons of memories made. A big thank-you to all the Scouts and families who helped make it such a smooth and spirited weekend. Now we shift gears into celebration mode as we look forward to honoring all the hard work, growth, and achievements from this past season at our Winter Court of Honor on 12/3 . What a month! October wrapped up with an unforgettable campout at Great Sand Dunes  — towering dunes, a bit of a chill, and a ton of fun memories made by all.
