Summer is here, and with school wrapped up, it’s time to trade our backpacks for hiking boots and make the most of long, sun‑lit days. Whether your Scout is focusing on merit badges, pitching a tent under the stars, or just enjoying some downtime with friends, we’ve got a season full of outdoor fun and skill‑building ahead.
We recently celebrated Micah, Andrew, and Cade at their Eagle Court of Honor—huge congrats to our newest Eagles! We also welcomed several Scouts into the Order of the Arrow and watched others step into new leadership roles. It’s been inspiring to see these young leaders rise to the challenge.

As a reminder, whenever a Scout and a leader communicate via email, it is essential to always CC another registered adult or a parent/guardian. This practice is a core part of Scouting’s Youth Protection guidelines. It helps ensure transparency, protects both the Scout and the adult, and fosters a safe and open environment for everyone.
